The 2005 Biggame Hunting Season

The biggame hunting season is coming to a close and we have had a great year. 47 antelope, 23 mule deer hunters, and 6 whitetail hunters came to the Rockin' 7 Ranch this fall. We were 100% successful on our antelope and whitetail hunts, and only one mule deer hunter went home empty handed.

Biggest of the Year--2005


Green scoring an 83--a potential Boone and Crocket buck with 16 inch horns-- James shot this buck on the 13th day of the season. A 79 yard shot from a 7mm was a great finish to a great hunt. James accidently lost the bolt for his rifle 2 days earlier and had to borrow a gun--"It's a good thing you lost your bolt!!"	A beautiful 7 X 7 mule deer shot on the 4th day of the season, Craig almost shot the lead buck out of a bachelor herd of five. He swung in time to catch this non-typical beauty at 84 yards.

This could have been you! Rockin' 7 Ranch manager Joel Bailey shot the only bull killed this year on the Rockin' 7. We have the bulls, we just need the hunters. This is the quality of bulls we have, but the hardest part is getting drawn for the license, please email today, the license deadline is January 31.	Bert from Miami, FL shot this 19 inch, 7 year old buffalo. It took 3 shots from a .375 to finish the old bull.

Justin C. from Colorado shot this 5X5 whitetail on November 22, 2005	Steve Y. from Chicago, IL shot this coyote at 155 yards with a perfect shot from a .22-250 on January 14, 2006.

First antelope of the year killed on September 13, 2005 by Scott L. of Chandler, Arizona. 35 yard shot.	Larry M. of North Vernon, Indiana shot this cow buffalo on Sept. 30 with a .300 Win. Mag. Guide--Joel B.	Barry O. of St. Clair Shores, Michigan shot this bull buffalo on Sept. 30. One shot at 309 yards dropped the big bull.
