bulls? We've got them! We have access to over 100,000 acres of PRIVATE
land for elk hunting in the premier trophy area of Wyoming. This area is becomming
legendary because of the quality and quantity of bulls. We're talking about numerous
bulls in the 340-350 class.
There
is a large population of elk, and the hunting is not as mountainous as some hunts,
so there is no need for horses, packing, or drop camps. These elk have very predictable
patterns so we can watch them bed down in the morning, and jump them when they
come down to feed in the evenings. The
ranch we will be hunting has a lot of pine trees with lush meadows and sage brush
flats. We hunt using mainly a spot and stalk method and can cover most of the
ranch with 4 wheel drive trucks. We are also offering archery hunts for these
big bulls where we can hunt them during the rut in September. We'll
take care of all the licensing process, just give us your information and send
us the license fee, and we'll fill out the application and submit it for you.
We are not taking deposits on these hunts, just the license fees. Once you draw,
then we'll figure out the details on dates, deposits... You
can also put in as a party, so either all of you get drawn, or none of you get
drawn, or you can just put in for a preference point so that you can increase
your chances of drawing a tag in the future. **2006
Update** We
had four elk hunters booked with the Rockin' 7 this year, and all four of them
killed beautiful elk--three 6X6's and one 5X6. We have big bulls, and a lot of
them. On one hunt this year, we counted over 45 bulls on the first day of the
hunt! Please email

Update** We
ended up shooting 9 bulls and one cow in 2007. The preference point system has
started paying off for some of our hunters, and the good part is every year they
have that much better chance of getting a license. The local elk population is
still increasing, and hunting couldn't be better. Please contact
