The
lodge at the Rockin' 7 ranch is first rate. 8,500 square feet of log splendor.
It has seven rooms each with two queen beds and private bath. One room is designed
for guests with access limitations. The
great room is majestic with huge vaulted ceilings and a spectacular view of Glendo
Lake and 10,000 foot Laramie Peak in the distance. Meals
are served ranch style and are generous and tasty. No gourmet, just good home
style cookin' and plenty of it! The
rooms are furnished with hand made log furniture, overstuffed, pillow-top mattresses
and wonderful
views of the surrounding terrain. Right
off the front deck are wheat fields and the pheasant slough so you can listen
to the roosters, watch the white tailed deer and dream of tomorrow. There
are two bedrooms with satellite t.v. featuring local, network, sports, and movie
channels, and also a loft with a 50" big screen t.v. with satellite programming. Our
hunters have asked for more pictures from inside of the lodge, inside and out.
I guess if you come 2000 miles you want to know what you are getting into--I don't
blame you. | | | Tthe
