Wyoming mule deer huntingWyoming Mule Deer hunting at the Rockin' 7 Ranch has been excellent the last several years. It is getting harder and harder to find good hunting with big bucks, but the Rockin' 7 Ranch has plenty of big bucks. We have large herds that roam freely over 105,000 acres of private land.

Our guided deer hunts are designed to give the hunter the best opportunity to harvest a trophy. Our mule deer and antelope hunting are the heart of the operation. The wild populations are dense and outside hunting pressure is kept to a minimum to allow Rockin' 7 Ranch guests the best there is when it comes to fair chase hunting!

Guided hunts are spot and stalk, along with some still hunting. Vast acreages allow plenty of visibility so we can glass for miles and spot the mule deer where they are bedding down.

Hunters must put in for a license, but drawing success has been 100% for the last 10 years. Our average size mule deer is a nice, mature 4 by 4 with a 22-24 inch spread. Every year we get a few 25-27 inchers, and once in a while we will get a happy hunter onto a 30" mule deer.

If you fill your deer tag early, you can hunt pheasant, prairie dogs, or coyotes at no additional charge. Just our way of making sure you have a total hunting EXPERIENCE with the Rockin' 7 Ranch!

2009 Wyoming Mule Deer Hunting Rates - Includes lodging at the Rockin' 7 Ranch Lodge, all meals, and guide. There are no hidden charges or trophy fees. All hunts are attempts to harvest the largest animal possible.

Deposit Information

  • Our Wyoming Mule deer hunts require a $1000 deposit, combo hunts require $1500, with the balance due upon arrival.
  • We will refund 50% of deposit if notified 45 days before the hunt; less than 45 days and the deposit is Non-Refundable.
  • If for some reason you are unsuccessful in drawing a license in WY, your deposit will be fully refunded.
  • Personal checks, Cashiers Checks, Cash, VISA and Master Card, and Discover will be accepted for deposits and final balance.
  • License and tag fees are not included in the price of the hunt.
