Trophy Bull Elk Hunting
Stan Clemens with a monstrous elk harvested with the Rockin’ 7 in 2013.

2013 was a challenging year. The weather threw us some unusual curve balls, leaving us with a lodge full of hunters and a blizzard outside. The electric was off for 3 days, and although a generator keeps things close to normal inside, the guides and hunters both would rather be outside. Thanks to everyone for their patience and understanding with the weather.

Trophy Bull Elk Hunting

Brad,
Just a few lines to express my appreciation to the crew at Rockin 7 for a memorable Elk hunt.  This was my fourth trip to the ranch and as usual everything was first class.  Robert was instrumental in my killing the Elk of a lifetime.  He is a very knowledgeable  and personable young man.  Always professional and strives to make sure that the client receives the utmost value of the hunt.  My first contact with Robert was last year when I booked a combo hunt after looking at your website.  I explained to him on the telephone that I had some physical limitations and asked if he could accommodate them.  He assured me that he could and after several more questions I decided to book the hunt.  I then decided later to book a PD hunt in June to check out the ranch and crew to make sure the combo hunt would go off well.  That trip eliminated any concerns that I had.
I then came out in June of 2013 for another PD trip and discussed with Robert scheduling an Elk hunt.  He again assured me that I could physically handle the hunt and chances were that I would kill a good Bull.  Rachel, my wife accompanied me again on this hunt.  As always she thoroughly enjoyed her time on the ranch and the lodge with Rutha.  Rutha is an excellent cook and also very professional and personable.  Little did I know when the hunt started that I would kill a very large bull that not many hunters experience in their lifetime.  Robert had planned this and spent time at the property in advance.  It still amazes me that he can see elk that the hunter has no idea are even there.
Brad, you have a beautiful ranch and lodge, an excellent hunting operation, and most of all a talented crew.  You are truly blessed to have Robert as your outfitting manager.
I’m looking forward to my PD trip in June and putting a hunt together next fall.
Thanks again,
Sincerely,

Stan Clemens

Little Mason Trupiano, born right in the middle of hunting season–I wonder how long it will be before he is guiding hunters for us just like his dad has the last 8 years, congratulations Steve!
