Nestled in the rolling hills of Eastern Wyoming's footlands, the Rockin' 7 Ranch provides a first-class hunting experience. With 105,000 private acres of wheat, native prairie grass, cedar covered ridges, and CRP fields, the ranch offers its guests trophy elk, buffalo, mule deer, antelope, white-tailed deer, upland birds, coyotes, geese, turkeys, and prairie dogs.

Located 130 miles north of Cheyenne, Wyoming, the Rockin' 7 Ranch is a fourth generation, family owned operation. With large, contiguous, private blocks of land, the hunting remains in much the same state as it did when the ranch was homesteaded back in 1914.

Wyoming elk hunting is our premier hunt. Our Wyoming elk hunting provides big bulls on private land with a high chance of success. These hunts are spot and stalk from 4 wheel drive pickups. The terrain varies from sage brush flats to deep, timber filled canyons.

Our Wyoming mule deer hunting is the heart of the operation. This style of hunting is what people want and expect from a classic Wyoming mule deer hunt. Big country with big mule deer, we hear over and over from our hunters how they can't believe how many mule deer they see in a day!

The hardest part of our Wyoming antelope hunting is deciding which buck antelope to shoot! Hunters can see more than 25 shootable bucks in a day. The antelope are numerous, and we have large herds virtually in every part of the ranch. Wyoming has more antelope than people and that's what you'll notice on our ranch--miles and miles of land, no hunters, and large herds of antelope.

Trophy Buffalo hunting and buffalo meat hunts are an exciting way to go back in history and experience some true western flavor. These big buffalo still look and act archaic with very little influence or attention from us. This is not a hurry-up canned hunt, you get to take your time and watch the buffalo and pick the one you want.

"Let the hunter be hunted!!" Coyote hunting is the extreme in hunting excitement. Prime Wyoming pelts and the opportunity to watch these predators come running at you from as much as 1,000 yards out will get your blood pumping and make your knees weak.

Prairie dog hunting is the most popular hunt we offer. Relatively inexpensive, Wyoming prairie dog hunting provides just good shooting fun all day. Prairie dog hunting also provides great practice for younger hunters; we have many father/son hunters that come every year, and hunters that want to practice long range shooting!

Our Wyoming pheasant and partridge hunting is an economical, do-it-yourself or guided bird hunt for those who just want to shoot birds or train their dog. This pheasant hunt is a preserve hunt, with no crowds, just plenty of great habitat and shooting opportunities. Our Wyoming pheasant hunting also works great as a combo hunt with one of our other Wyoming hunts, or just bring your buddies for some good shooting fun.

Complete your grand slam with us and our Wyoming turkey hunting! Our Merriams turkey hunts take place on private land with cedar covered ridges and creek bottoms.

Come experience Rockin' 7 Ranch Wyoming goose hunting. These birds flock to the wheat fields of the ranch on their way south for the winter. We use "Final Approach" blinds and large spreads of decoys to bring them right in for plenty of action. We have a 21 acre private pond that is loaded with ducks all winter.
